FounderHut Insurance handles applications, policy documents and claim records — that's sensitive enough that we wrote the platform with the same controls our carrier partners require.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic is served over TLS 1.2+. Document storage uses AES-256 server-side encryption with per-user signed URLs that expire in seconds.
Row-level access control
Your quotes, policies, claims and documents are gated by row-level policies in our database. Only you and assigned underwriting / claims staff can read them.
PII minimization
We only collect what underwriting requires. Sensitive identifiers are scoped to the carrier exchange and are never used for marketing.
Licensed carriers
Coverage is bound by licensed admitted carriers via the Boost Insurance program. The carrier name, NAIC, and A.M. Best rating are surfaced before every bind.
Audit trail
Every state change on a quote, policy or claim writes to an append-only audit log accessible to compliance staff.
